XNTHONY and The Penny Slots are making (another) Eurovision comeback!

Armed with a host of hit songs to choose from, this loveable poptastic comedy will leave you in stitches. They’re making a bid to represent Ireland in the next Eurovision but need your help in picking the winning song.

Aiming for Douze Points and European glory, they’ll do anything to get there!

Winner of Best Comedy IYAF 2016, the smash-hit comedy makes its Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut this summer.

We are thrilled to announce that DOUZE has been given the FANTASTIC stamp of approval by the UK OGAE (The OFFICIAL UK EUROVISION FAN CLUB). To celebrate this, we will be holding a very special EUROVISION GALA on August 12th at 8:30pm at C VENUES ROYALE +. For more information just visit here. We can’t wait to meet all you Eurovision fans and see what songs you love (or hate…!).

‘Stunning… High Energy… Hilarious’ (Meg.ie).

Myself, composer Darragh Hogan and 8 piece marching band have been in a recording studio for the past 2 days.

I have never understood why pop-stars can be divas in these situations.

I’m not even recording anything and I’m exhausted, and perfection is expensive.

There’s a teaser (and it’s unedited by the way!) on my Facebook page if you’re interested.

The music is bombastic, cartoony, energetic and funky. Like two slices of multi-grain bread which will accompany a jammy and drippy centre.

Turpin

June 17 x x

This weekend I had the honor of co-starring in David Turpin’s* new music video.

It was a minimal affair – lots of close ups and cloudy movement – a nice change to twerking and all that.

It’s also nice to be in touch with original Irish music – something I feel I have no connection to whatsoever. I especially feel as though the Irish Music scene is perhaps disconnected from the art scene – or is it that the whole lot of them just don’t want to say hi?

Stay tuned for David’s NEW album coming SOON!
