In September I was thrilled to be GCN's cover boy! In it I talk about branding, authenticity and rural life! Check it out here.
XNTHONY wins Ireland's LGBT+ Entertainer of the Year!
In October I was thrilled to collect the award for Ireland's LGBT+ Entertainer of the Year. Not expecting to win (I don't have notions) I dedicated the award to my family and my much moaned about home country Roscommon. Rural life is a force for good, and should not be ignored or misunderstood. Here's to 2018!
Smirnoff Collaborates With XNTHONY
SMIRNOFF launches the next chapter of their “We’re Open” initiative. Bringing together leading trans and gender non-conforming artists and performers, the campaign aims to spark conversation, create positive change in nightlife culture and lead a movement to make it a more open-minded and socially inclusive space. And it features ME!
The video by SMIRNOFF stars DJ and producer Honey Dijon, French LGBTQ+ icon and leading figure on the Paris Ballroom scene Kiddie, British transgender model and dancer Lucy Fizz, and gender-fluid pop artist Le Fil, and myself. It celebrates the role that nightlife plays in inclusive good times, and its power to inspire positive change in the communities it represents.
A New Era
I'm so thrilled to be starting a new phase of work in 2018 with Roscommon Arts Centre, Creative Ireland and Arts Council Ireland.
The project is called 'CONFIRMATION' and is Inspired by my Confirmation booklet from 2002 and the Roscommon rejection of the Marriage Equality in 2015. The project will promote Roscommon and rural life as a force for good, taking the form of a live pop concert experience.
Welcome to my new website!
I'm in the midst of editing this website, so please bear with me while things jump around and change; I'm trying to find something that works best for you, the audience! I'm also partial to some feedback, so get in touch, I'd love to hear what you think about it!
